Kayxo Exchange Adapter for BizTalk (KEAB) is an adapter that enables your customers to integrate and connect any information stored in MS Exchange (messages, contacts, attachments, calendar items, tasks, and so on) with workflows and data from all their existing transactional systems.
With KEAB the complexity of consolidating, merging, processing, and presenting unstructured and structured business information altogether can be drastically reduced for tackling relevant business needs.
Since KEAB uses MAPI (the same protocol MS Outlook uses to communicate with Exchange) all the objects and their information are available to be retrieved on demand, created or modified, both using the fastest access method to the Exchange Server and bringing a complete set of information not accessible through other methods (CDO, WebDav, MS Exchange 2007 Web Services).
The KEAB Enterprise Class architecture supports load balancing and failover scenarios, making it suitable for high-end Enterprise solutions.
With KEAB, Microsoft Exchange and its information are open and available for any kind of integration, empowering backend systems (ERP, CRM, DataWarehouse, etc.) with the richness and the dynamism of communication information.
Key benefits:
Simplified programming environment, integrated with Visual Studio 2005.
Simplified configuration environment, integrated with BizTalk Server 2006 and Visual Studio 2005.
Visual configuration to select the MAPI properties that will be part of the messages and schemas.
Real-time creation and manipulation of any Exchange item on demand, transferring only a selected subset of properties to optimize the bandwidth usage.
Allows selecting which Exchange mailboxes will be monitored or used.
Performance counters integrated with the Operative System Performance Monitor, allowing System Administrators to know the health of the applications and the communication with the Exchange Server at all times.
KEAB needs minimum security credentials over the Exchange Server, enough to access the information and mailboxes it will use.
Fastest access to Exchange Server objects information in the market (through MAPI), adding the least possible overhead to the Exchange Server.
Support for Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2007, with mailboxes in any language.
